A Fable about Diligence
There was this bee so enviably industrious, no self-respecting hive would have it in.
And how did this disagreeable situation come to be?
Well! One major factor was maintenance of worker morale in the common hive due to the work ethic of this particular bee - which could be an embarrassment.
For this was a bee that at every break-of-dawn would be buzzing bedewed blossoms for a nectar breakfast - a glutton for work, as it were.
And while on that action word, this bee's buzz was never the expected monotonous pitched drone. No! This worker-bee's hum was full of tone and rhythm and pleasant vibrations - a joyful slave-song, one might remark.
Fatefully though, this bee belonged to a species that was essentially social - because of vitals like warmth and fungal food, they cannot exist alone. So betimes this bee's third sunset the situation had become unsustainable.
Came the fourth dawn, this outstanding bee was busy no more.
Moral: There really is no 'f-u-n' in 'W-O-R-K'.
