A Fable about Psycho-Physics.

Bob Cue was into Information Technology, Feng Shui, and Hatha Yoga. A keen experimenter, he believed that all energy was interchangeable, and 'emotional' energy was not excepted from this proposition.

So he diligently sought for wavelength commonalities and overlaps between smell and sound in sight or taste with touch; just the basic senses for now.

True and clearly, Bob was an unusual coin. On the obverse though, he was brilliantly inventive, sincere, and persistent.

Tonight he wore black sweat-pants and an oversize hoody, navy-blue to suit the darkness. He stood in the shadows and pointed his newly created version of a spectrophotometer towards the jumping 'end-of-year' party next door. He adjusted the device to 'wide scan' and fine-tuned the range finder.

Then well-satisfied with settings, Bob steadied his aim and flicked the 'on' switch of his experimental mood-measuring machine.

From the frenzy of the readout needles, the sentimental flavors recorded had to be massive!

Moral: Strangeness happens when possibilities blend.
